Chair by Jean Prouvé re-embroidered with an appliqué work cinetic decor of silk canvas, set off by a small chain of shaded rayon on a background of a tone on tone 'brick stitch'. Though built, the decor seems to float on the seat and the back, while underlining their structure.

This type of embroidery, refined but less marked than its classical counterparts, provides a subtle and sophisticated elegance in contemporary interiors.
